A festive dayout at Edinburgh’s Christmas Market

YOU MUST BOOK A TICKET TO ATTEND THIS TRIP - this trip is only for students currently living in UofG accommodation.

Join us for a festive day trip to Edinburgh’s world-famous Christmas Market!

Please arrive at the Bus Stop by the Wolfson Medical Building on University Avenue by 9:35am at the latest. The coach will depart at 10:00am sharp - if you are not on the bus by 9:50am, your seat may be given to someone on the waitlist.

PLEASE NOTE: If you miss the bus, you’ll need to arrange your own transport to Edinburgh at your own expense.

Once we arrive, you’ll be dropped off on Princes Street, just a short walk from the Christmas Market and plenty of shops, cafés, museums, and attractions.

The day is completely yours to enjoy however you like - wander the market stalls, try some seasonal treats, pick up holiday gifts, or explore the city’s sights at your own pace.

The bus will leave from the same drop-off location at 4:00pm, so please ensure you return to the pick-up location by 3:45pm at the latest. We’ll arrive back at the Union in the evening.

PLEASE NOTE: Anyone who isn’t back by departure will need to make their own way home. 

It’s a perfect chance to soak up the festive atmosphere, spend time with friends, and enjoy a day out in one of the UK’s most beautiful cities.

Weather Reminder: Much of the market is outdoors, so please dress for winter weather.
