Join us on a trip to Inveraray Castle!

YOU MUST BOOK A TICKET TO ATTEND THIS TRIP – this trip is only for students currently living in UofG accommodation.

Join us for a fantastic day trip to Inveraray Castle, one of Scotland’s most beautiful and historic castles, located in the charming town of Inveraray on the shores of Loch Fyne.

The bus will leave from campus at 9:30am and head to Inveraray. 

Once we arrive at Inveraray Castle, you will take part in a wonderful guided tour of the castle (either morning tour or afternoon tour). During the rest of the day, you’ll have plenty of time to explore and enjoy the surroundings.

You can browse the castle gift shop, relax in the tea room, wander through the beautiful gardens, or head into the town of Inveraray to explore its shops, cafés, and scenic waterfront before or after your tour.

The bus will depart from Inveraray at approximately 4:30pm, and we expect to arrive back on University of Glasgow campus around 6:00pm.

It’s the perfect opportunity to experience a stunning Scottish castle, explore a picturesque Highland town, and enjoy a relaxing day out with fellow students. 🏰🚌🌿
