Havannah House Management Staff
What do they do?
- The Havannah House team is led by Operations Manager, Catherine Robertson.
- You’ll find the team at the reception area of Havannah House from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. Outside these hours, the Security teams are available to assist.

- They ensure the smooth running of the accommodation and are here to make your stay enjoyable. Whether you have a question, need guidance, or are facing a challenge, they’re ready to help.
- They can also arrange repairs, liaise with contractors and connect you with other University support services.
- They oversee the domestic and maintenance staff working in your accommodation (iQ app must be downloaded to log maintenance, collect parcels, and more).
Domestic and Maintenance staff
What do they do?
- They clean and maintain communal areas outside your room.
- It’s your responsibility to keep your bedroom clean and communal areas tidy. Please use the external bin facilities and avoid leaving rubbish on the ground.
- They’re happy to advise on cleaning responsibilities and monitor progress.
- Maintenance technicians will carry out minor repairs and help maintain the building.
- They work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Security
What do they do?
Security helps maintain a peaceful environment—so you might be asked to keep the noise down after 11pm!

Allocations Team
What do they do?
- They manage room allocations across university residences.
- Contact them if you want to move room or residence.
- Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.
