Availability & Booking
i. Packages are available on a first come, first served basis
ii. Full payment is required at the time of booking
2. Meal Package Details (inc. pricing)
i. 22 September to 12 December 2025 pre-paid Total cost £870.
All Meal Plan cards must be collected from the 15 to 22 September 2025 from the James McCune Smith Learning Hub, from our World Cuisine counter.
ii. Package includes one Meal Plan breakfast and one Meal Plan dinner per day. Please review the Meal Plan pdf for full details.
a. Monday to Friday, excluding University of Glasgow defined public holidays
b. Breakfast served 8am to 10am
c. Dinner served 5pm to 7pm
iii. Additional items beyond the package allowance will be charged separately at the point of sale
iv. All meals will be served in the James McCune Smith Learning Hub only (sit-in or takeaway, no delivery service is available) with the exception of the alternative breakfast offer which can be redeemed in the Coffee House, The Western Cafe and the ASBS Tinderbox.
d. Please note that once food has left the premises, we can no longer ensure its temperature or condition. As such, any food taken off-site is consumed at your own discretion.
e. Customers will be issued with a Meal Plan card which must be shown at point of service. Lost or stolen cards must be reported immediately to campuscatering@glasgow.ac.uk. a replacement card may incur a fee.
f. Customers must detail all allergens and dietary requirements at point of purchase.
3. Usage & Expiry
i. Customers are entitled to one Meal Plan breakfast and one Meal Plan dinner, Monday to Friday for the duration of the Package. Review the Meal Plan pdf for details.
ii. Unused meals do not roll over to the following week
iii. Unused meals cannot be transferred to another student ID
iv. There are no prepaid meal options available at the weekend or University/public holidays
4. Purchasing
i. Prepaid packages are only available to purchase via the online booking link.
ii. Full payment is due at the time of purchase
iii. Cancellation of a Meal Plan can be requested within 14 days of purchase and full refund given. Any refunds requested thereafter may be declined and pro-rata refunds may be offered under exceptional circumstances.
5. Miscellaneous
i. The University of Glasgow and any subsidiary companies reserve the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time without prior notice
ii. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions
iii. Any queries, concerns or complaints relating to this offer should be directed to campuscatering@glasgow.ac.uk A response will be received within 5 working days.
iv. All menus are subject to change and depending on product/ingredient availability; our sample menus should be used a guide only.
v. During any unexpected closure of the University (e.g. due to adverse weather conditions), we cannot offer refunds or guarantee meals will be available.

The information collected
Log files
The University's website does not automatically capture or store personal data from visitors to the site, other than to log your IP address and session information.
