In our accommodation we aim to build a safe, inclusive respectful and diverse student community. With the help of our residence staff, security and University Support Services you can be assured that your health, safety and wellbeing are at the forefront of everything we do. Wolfson Hall Management Staff

What do they do?

  • The Wolfson Hall team is headed up by Kenny Gough, Accommodation Manager.
  • Kenny's team are located at Reception from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. 
  • They're responsible for the smooth running of the accommodation and to make sure your stay at Wolfson Hall is enjoyable!
  • They are there to answer any queries you have and they can listen and offer guidance and assistance if you are having any problems.
  • They can access other areas of support within the University and they can arrange repairs either through the onsite estates team or through liaison with external contractors.
  • They are responsible for the catering, domestic and maintenance staff working in your accommodation.

Catering, Domestic and Maintenance staff

What do they do?

  • They provide all of your meals that are served in the Dining Room.
  • They clean and maintain the communal areas in Wolfson Hall.
  • Remember - it's your job to keep your bedroom and pantry kitchen clean and tidy and to make sure that the communal areas are always clear. You must keep your accommodation free from rubbish, using the external bin facilities around site (and not left on the ground beside the bins for pests to raid).
  • Porters/handymen will carry out minor repairs and assist in the general upkeep of the building.
  • They assist the Accommodation Manager in the smooth running of the site.

Residence Life (ResLife) Team

What do they do?

The Welfare Team can help you settle into University life and adjust to independent living. They can support you in getting along with your flatmates and help you to be a good neighbour.

Security

What do they do?

  • 24-hour assistance is available from University Security at Garscube Campus.

  • Remember they are here for your safety and security.
  • For extra peace of mind you can download the Safezone app. The app is monitored 24 hours a day and ensures the safety and security of all our students whether you are on campus at your residence or anywhere in between. 

Allocations Team

What do they do?

  • They are responsible for room allocations in the Residences.
  • Contact them if you want to move rooms or residences.
  • They work normal office hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm.
