We know getting up early to make your 9am lectures can be difficult, but we have just the thing to perk you up!

One of the first places you see on campus and open from 8am, Tinderbox in the James McCune Smith Learning Hub is the perfect spot to catch up with friends and chill with a high-quality cuppa or quickly grab a delicious coffee on the go before your uni day gets into full swing. 

Not to mention Tinderbox also has a large selection of mouth-watering pastries and bakes available every single day from slices of classic Victoria sponge to fancy cappuccino cannolis. Can't decide? Out staff and students recommend pairing a hot coffee with our fudgy brownie, don't worry we won't judge if you want dessert for breakfast! 

All of our coffee on campus is organically and sustainably sourced and is served in compostable packaging made from plants using renewable, lower carbon and recycled materials - so you know you're making a good step towards greater sustainability with every drink. 

Speaking of being sustainable, you can contribute to helping us help the planet by bringing in your own reusable mug or using one of our KeepCups for every hot drink. Don't forget to pick up one of our loyalty cards in the cafés where every 10 stamps earns you a free coffee. Get 1 stamp for every takeaway drink or get 2 stamps for using your reusable cup. Not only will you be doing a good deed but it'll help you save money, what's not to love?
