In the UK, electric kettles are ubiquitous as we are notoriously fond of a cuppa, however, this isn't the case in every country so here's a quick guide to using your kettle.
👀 Give your kettle a quick visual inspection to make sure it's in good working order and don’t use if the switch, plug or cable is damaged.
🚰 Remove the kettle from the connector plate and fill with water, taking care not to overfill the unit. You should only use water in kettles so no getting creative!
🎚️ Place on the connector plate and press the button to start boiling. Please don’t put the kettle on to a hob ring to heat up - believe us, it won’t end well!
⏲️ When boiling water, stay in the kitchen. All kettles are set to auto-stop once boiled but some faults do occur and the unit may not switch off which can cause a fire alarm.
☕️ Pour yourself your well deserved brew.
