Options for getting to Campus

If you're an international student travelling to Glasgow by air, our colleagues in the International Student Support Team (ISS) have created a helpful website that will give you all the information about pre-arrival documentation, arriving at Glasgow Airport, Immigration, and how to travel from the Airport to Glasgow City Centre.

Glasgow Airport to the University and Residences

Glasgow International Airport is located around 8 miles from the Glasgow city centre and has good transport links for you to access.

Whilst there is no train service from the airport, most travellers will take advantage of the regular airport bus service and taxis for the next stages of their journey.

If you're looking to take the bus, then you'll be able to accesd the Glasgow Airport Express service 500. Operated by First Glasgow, the 500 is the official bus service connecting the airport and the city centre.
