In November 2023, the University of Glasgow launched the ‘Together Against Gender-Based Violence’ campaign with the Students Representative Council (SRC) to coincide with the United Nation's 16 Days of Activism.
Following on from the Morag Ross KC Report which launched in December 2022 and reviewed UofG‘s handling of Gender Based Violence, the campaign aims to raise awareness about the different forms of GBV and highlight support and resources to the University community.

James McCune Smith Learning Hub Art Installation
To mark the campaign, the University has teamed up with Glasgow based artist and illustrator, Molly Hankinson, who produced a powerful art installation.
If you'd like to check it out, you'll find it located on the ground floor of the James McCune Smith.
Events on Campus
As well as the mural, there's going to be lots going on on campus to support the campaign. The SRC has collaborated with a number of societies and student bodies to pull together a comprehensive programme of student-led events and activities. You'll find a full list on the SRC website.
