There's going to be lots going on in Glasgow!

The time has come again to unite for a night of Ceilidhs, superb suppers and spectacular Scottish shows all in the name of the late, great poet, Robert Burns.

Burns Night will officially take place on the 25th January and Glasgow is ready and waiting with a whole host of events!

Burns Suppers, Ceilidhs and much more!

UofG Welcome’s Big Burns Night Celebration

Head along to the beautiful Hunterian on Friday 31 January to enjoy a night of poetry, music, food, and dance at the Uni’s Big Burns Night Celebration!

You'll be able to enjoy a selection of amazing Scottish food and drink, including haggis, neeps, and tatties! There will be a Bagpipe performance, poetry recitals and you'll finish the evening with a brilliant Ceilidh in the Bute Hall led by professional Scottish dance band.

This is one of the cheapest Burns Night celebrations we've found so far, so if you're on a budget then this one is for you!

Burns Supper & Ceilidh at Cottiers Theatre

Cottiers promises a Burns Night to remember as they host their annual ceilidh to celebrate the immortal memory of our national Bard on the 25th.

There will be a three-course meal followed by a ceilidh, led by The Big Stupit’ Ceilidh Band!

Burns Night at Òran Mór

Fancy Rabbie by Day or Burns at Night? Òran Mór in the heart of the West End are celebrating our National Bard on the 25th of January with two special events. 

In Rabbie by Day, between 12 and 5pm, you'll enjoy a there course lunch accompanied by Burns' poetry, music and whisky!

From 6.30pm onwards, you can enjoy Burns by Night with a three-course Burns Supper, poetry, music and whisky.

Burns Night at Stravaigin

If you fancy a bit of humour with your haggis neeps and tatties you can check out Stravaigin's Caledonian Cowboy Burns Supper. There will be a three-course Scottish brunch followed by a wee dram, all accompanied by piping, poems and performance from Johnny Gauld, the Caledonian Cowboy.

Kelvingrove Burns Night Concert

Head along to the 'awe-inspiring surrounds' of Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery on the 25th for a very special Celtic Connections Burns Night Concert.

There will music, song, and spoken-word performances from Burns' oeuvre so definitely not to be missed!

Sauchiehall Street Strip the Willow

For something a little different on the 25th, why not head to Sauchiehall Street at 2pm for Glasgow's big outdoor Strip the Willow?

Led by professional dancers and a band of pipers, you'll able to dance down the recently reopened pedestrian thoroughfare and to celebrate new year, the new street and the street’s heritage in style.
