Did you know there is a campus bookstore that is the oldest continuously trading bookseller in the English speaking world!! Originally started as John Smith and Son in 1751 in Glasgow, it has seen some of the greatest minds of the modern era shop its shelves (and even worked as agent for an up and coming poet you might have heard of called Robert Burns).
Not only can you buy your all important class reading list textbooks, but a whole host of Fiction, science fiction, crime, children’s books and graphic novels. You’ll also find a great range of non fiction, stretching from History, politics and science to cooking and art. We of course sell a massive range of stationary for all your Study essentials and even games and hobbies like Warhammer, electronic accessories and gifts. If you don’t see a book you need, we will order it at no extra charge and you get a student discount on all non discounted items. The shop is open to all students, staff and the general public.
But whether its to get that text book you really need or to chill out with your latest favourite book, it’s a great resource and the perfect place to hang out and de-stress. You will find us in the Fraser building beside the Library and reading rooms.
