The nights may be drawing in and the temperature starting to drop but that's ok as Glasgow has plenty of activities and events to keep you educated, entertained and informed throughout the rest of Autumn!

At the University
Choral Contemplations II (University Memorial Chapel, 4 November 2025)
If you’re looking for a bit of calm and reflection this month, head along to the University chapel and hear the outstanding Chapel Choir explore works involving, unicorns, giant whales, lions and other mythical beasts!
Lunchtime Organ Recitals (University Memorial Chapel, 5, 12, 19 and 26 November 2025)
Come along and hear recitals from some of the UK's finest organists in the peaceful surroundings of the University Chapel.
CinemARC: The Social Network (Advanced Research Centre (ARC), 19 November)
A special screening of 2010's The Social Network about Mark Zuckerberg and the foundation of Facebook. UofG Researchers will also be on had to discuss the emergence of social media and chart its evolution over the last few years.

GlasGLOW (Botanic Gardens, 24 October - 9 November 2025)
See the beautiful Botanic Gardens as you’ve never seen them before as GlasGLOW returns for the ninth year! This year’s theme will be a celebration of Glasgow's upcoming 850th birthday so expect an illuminating sonic and visual recreation of some of the city's great icons!
Aye Write Book Festival (6 - 16 November)

Led Zeppelin: Fulldome Experience (Glasgow Science Centre, 15 and 17 November)
Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and Co may no longer be touring but fans of Led Zeppelin can experience the classic rock band as never before as their best loved hits are fused with 360 visuals and abstract art to create a very unique soundscape.
The Red Clay Strays (O2 Academy, 4 November)

Mystery Ensemble Play The Music of Harry Potter (Glasgow University Union (GUU), 8 November)
With the Uni's main Gilbert Scott building frequently being referred to as 'Hogwarts' due to it's resemblance to the Harry's famous school, the GUU makes a very fitting location to hear the hits from the film played live.
RSNO Season 25/26: Beethoven Seven (Royal Concert Hall, 8 November)
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) take on one of Ludwig van Beethoven's greatest masterpieces, the incredible, Seventh Symphony.

In 2000, you couldn't escape Wheatus' breakout single Teenage Dirtbag and now, 25 years on, the guys are dropping by the SWG3 to play their self tilted debut album in its entirety.
