Check out your local Pharmacy

Your first stop for minor ailments and illnesses!

Struggling through a cold, sore throat or aches and pains? Your local pharmacist may be able to help you get back on track!

As part of the NHS Pharmacy First Scotland scheme, you can consult with a licensed pharmacist for support, advice and medication.

How does Pharmacy First work?

If you are suffering from a minor illness or common ailment just head along to your local pharmacy and speak to the pharmacist or a member of the team. Most pharmacies have a dedicated consultation space so don't worry if you need to speak to the pharmacist in private.

After you have explained your symptoms, the pharmacy team will then be able to advise on your condition, provide medication or recommend an over-the-counter treatment that you can buy.

Where is my closest pharmacy?

To find the nearest pharmacy to your residence just enter the postcode in the NHS's service directory and it will provide you with the top options.
