Dumfries Residences Management Staff

What do they do?

• Dumfries Hall, Brooke House and Laurieknowe are managed remotely by the Student Apartments team. Assistant Managers Chris Cunningham and Liz Young are supported by Operations Assistant Julia Nouillan.

• The team are located at 89 Gibson Street, Glasgow and the Student Apartment office is open between 08.00 – 17.00hrs, Monday to Friday.  
• They are here to answer any queries you have and they can listen and offer guidance and assistance if you are having any problems.

• For general enquires or to report a repair please call on 0141 330 6182, complete the maintenance request form or email dumfries-accommodation@glasgow.ac.uk
• They are responsible for the smooth running of the accommodation and to make sure your stay at Dumfries Hall, Brooke House and Laurieknowe is enjoyable.

• Dumfries Residences are managed in partnership with Loreburn Housing Association. 

• They can access other areas of support within the University and they can arrange repairs through liaising with Loreburn Housing Association and their external contractors.

Residence Life (ResLife) Team

What do they do?

The Welfare Team, also based in Glasgow, can help you settle into University life and adjust to independent living. They can support you in getting along with your flatmates and help you to be a good neighbour.

Allocations Team

What do they do?

• They are responsible for room allocations in the Residences.
• Contact them if you want to move rooms / residences.
• They can also provide general advice on housing matters, including renting in the private sector.
• They work normal office hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm.
