If you are going to be staying with us over the festive period remember that there is lots of assistance available at the residences 24/7 and from University Security!

Security

As well as your local security team, you can always get in touch with our University Security team. They can be reached on 0141 330 4444, via the Safezone app or by dropping by to see them at the Gatehouse on main campus.

A few tips...

When leaving the flat ensure that windows and doors are properly secured. Keep front doors locked, even when you are in the flat.

Always make sure the block door locks behind you, and never let anyone you do not know into the building. If you are in a ground floor room, make sure that your valuables are stored out of sight and away from window sills.

When going away during the holiday period, please leave a contact number with either a flatmate or neighbour if possible so that you can be reached in case of emergency.

If you notice anything suspicious at any time, you can contact 24hr Security at CSB or you can telephone 101 for Police Scotland.

Repairs

If you require any emergency repairs please contact 24hr Security who will be able to report them to the appropriate contractor.

Problems with heating and/or hot water should be reported immediately as this will speed up any repairs. To help avoid problems with frozen or burst pipes, please leave your radiators turned on if you are away from the flat.

Please note any repairs submitted online will only be accessed by Office staff on the dates stated in the 'Additional Office Hours' section.

Lost Keys

Replacement keys will not be available during the office closure so please take extra care with your room keys. If you are locked out, please contact 24hr Security.
