Wondering what's in your bedroom?

In Kelvinhaugh Street, your room has been set up with everything you need for a successful year at University. You’ve got a:

  • Bed - All rooms at Kelvinhaugh Street have small double beds (4ft Wide) 
  • Desk and desk lamp
  • Chair
  • Wardrobe
  • Storage shelves
  • Bookshelf
  • Whiteboard - Please use whiteboard pens only

Whilst we want you to make your room feel like home, please remember to use the pin boards for your posters and don’t use blue or white tack, tape, pins or nails on the walls. Any necessary redecoration needed when you leave will be charged to you.

Your Kitchen

In Kelvinhaugh Street, your kitchen is well-equipped with: 

  • Cooker
  • Fridge-freezer
  • Microwave
  • Kettle
  • Toaster
  • Dining table and chairs
  • Individual shelf space

You’ll need to provide their own crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and towels.

Maintenance Requests

If you ever experience any problems with your bedroom or kitchen you can report maintenance issues directly to your site team through the Accommodation Services Maintenance Request Form.

Any Emergency Repairs, including the reinstatement of a utility or vital service or a temporary repair prior to a full repair being carried out e.g. serious water leaks, roof leaks, faulty door locks, failure of heating and water systems, should be reported to your site office or duty Residence Life Assistant (out of hours) asap. 

Flat Inspections

Good to be away?

If you are planning to spend a night or two away from your residence, please let your site team know so they can keep the fire list up to date.
