Arrivals Day Filming at Murano Street

Arrivals weekends at Murano Street are always special. The excitement, the energy, the sense of anticipation all combine to create what will be an unforgettable start to your Uni Journey!

To help record the moment and capture some of the experience for future students, we'll be working with our partners Campuslife to create a very special arrivals day film. As a sequel to our incredibly popular Arrivals day at the University of Glasgow, the film will be focussed on you, our student, your hopes, expectations and even apprehensions ahead of your big move. We'll also be speaking to the site staff and ResLife team about the ways they'll be able support you so it promises to be a really exciting addition to the day.

Would you like to be involved?

The film crew and the filming areas will be well advertised and posted so there's no pressure to take part but, if you'd like to get involved then we'll be looking for:

• 1-4 new students moving into accommodation who are happy to be filmed 2 or 3 times across the day for quick, low-pressure vox pop chats.

• No acting experience or memorised lines needed - just be yourself! 

• We would love to feature a diverse mix of residents in our UofG community - if you have travelled from near or far or have an interesting story to share on your path to University please let us know.
